HVAC Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The HVAC Maintenance Supervisor at HRSI oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring that daily work schedules and preventive maintenance programs are executed efficiently. This role involves supervising technicians, mechanics, and subcontractors while coordinating with other MEP teams to meet health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC technicians, mechanics, and subcontractors during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Plan and coordinate daily HVAC maintenance and work schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Inspect and diagnose faults in chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, VRF/VRV systems, package and split units, pumps, cooling towers, and ventilation systems.
• Monitor preventive maintenance programs, ensuring timely completion and tracking progress.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and maintenance procedures for compliance.
• Coordinate HVAC activities with electrical, plumbing, civil, and other MEP teams.
• Manage manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for HVAC tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8‑10 years of HVAC experience focused on plant operations and project execution.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proactive in identifying operational issues and maintaining comprehensive records.
