Logistics Dispatcher – Trucking Operations

About the role

The Logistics Dispatcher will play a pivotal role in Hambo Freight’s trucking operations, ensuring that loads are scheduled, routed, and delivered profitably. Using dispatch and logistics software, the dispatcher will secure the best loads while maintaining constant communication with drivers and brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily truck dispatch operations, schedule loads and optimise routes.
• Negotiate competitive rates with brokers and manage accessorial charges such as detention, layover, TONU and lumper fees.
• Search and book loads on load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) and track them from pickup to delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation including Rate Confirmations, Bills of Lading and Proof of Delivery.
• Utilise GIS, route‑optimization algorithms and ELD systems to minimise deadhead miles and ensure compliance.
• Provide proactive support to drivers, resolve issues quickly and report performance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong accountability and professional attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent time‑management skills to handle multiple trucks and loads simultaneously.
• Ability to work US business hour shifts or night schedules from Pakistan.
