Manager Design & Illustration

About the role

The Manager Design & Illustration will lead the end‑to‑end creation of educational books and related publishing materials, overseeing both print and digital formats. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure visual storytelling, layout and illustration meet the highest quality and brand standards while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the design, layout and illustration process for educational titles from concept to final production.
• Manage a multidisciplinary creative team, allocating resources and tracking project timelines.
• Coordinate with editorial, product and marketing teams to align visual content with pedagogical goals and market needs.
• Develop and optimise creative workflows to improve efficiency, scalability and cross‑platform integration.
• Stay current with industry trends, new tools and technologies, and introduce innovative design approaches.
• Monitor creative performance, conduct quality checks and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia or a related field.
• Minimum six years of professional experience in design, illustration or related creative roles.
• Proven track record of leading creative projects and teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
