Mechanical Draftsman – MEP (Shop & Isometric Drawings)

About the role

We are seeking a self‑motivated Mechanical Draftsman to join our multidisciplinary engineering team on‑site in Karachi. The role focuses on producing accurate shop and isometric drawings for a range of MEP systems, supporting the delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review shop drawings and isometric schematics for condensate, compressed‑air, fire‑fighting, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and other specialists to ensure design intent and project specifications are met.
• Maintain drawing standards and update documentation in line with the latest drafting software advancements.
• Assist in coordination meetings and provide technical input for constructability reviews.

Required profile

• 7–8 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in the MEP sector.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to staying current with drafting tools and industry best practices.
