People Executive – HR Strategy & Talent Management

About the role

As a People Executive at IO Digital in Karachi, you will shape and execute people strategies that support organisational success. You will oversee core HR functions, ensure compliance with labour laws, foster a positive workplace culture and drive employee growth and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Source and screen resumes to identify suitable candidates.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
• Collaborate with team leads to understand hiring requirements and timelines.
• Track candidate pipelines and ensure a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding.
• Assist in conducting orientation sessions to introduce company culture, policies and benefits.
• Support planning and implementation of activities that promote an inclusive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with data‑privacy laws and internal HR policies.
• Assist in managing attendance, leave records and other HR documentation.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes to provide a seamless employee experience.
• Act as a liaison between management and employees to address queries and concerns.
• Continuously evaluate HR processes for efficiency and employee‑experience improvements.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations and HR operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Adequate knowledge of labour laws, compliance and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
