Presales Consultant – Enterprise Solutions

About the role

Abacus is looking for a Presales Consultant to lead enterprise pre‑sales cycles, analyse customer requirements and design tailored solutions. You will work closely with sales, delivery and customers to ensure proposals are technically sound and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions, workshops and solution scoping with customers.
• Build and present complete solution architectures and product roadmaps.
• Create advanced demos, prototypes and enterprise‑level proof‑of‑concepts.
• Respond to complex RFPs/RFIs with technical proposals and bill of quantities.
• Support the sales team in bid defence, value positioning and negotiation.
• Mentor junior pre‑sales team members and contribute to knowledge development.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure successful handover of scoped solutions.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in pre‑sales, solutions or enterprise consulting.
• Strong understanding of Java, NodeJS, Python, APIs, micro‑services and cloud‑native architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with proposal writing, tender responses and solution design.
• Excellent customer‑facing communication and storytelling ability.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ROI.
