Segment Head - Data Strategy and Solutions

About the role

The Bank of Punjab is seeking a senior leader to shape its data strategy and drive advanced analytics across the organization. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for building a data‑centric culture that supports informed decision‑making and innovative banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a robust data strategy, governance framework, and data quality standards for the entire bank.
• Create a long‑term data roadmap to enhance data‑driven decision making.
• Identify and champion opportunities for advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning in banking operations.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, and senior leadership to embed data‑driven insights throughout the organization.
• Oversee master data management, metadata, and data quality initiatives.
• Lead the adoption and integration of FDX standards, open‑banking APIs, and third‑party data sharing frameworks while ensuring compliance and security.
• Select and manage data platforms, AI tools, and technology vendors supporting data and AI initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Up to 55 years of age as of June 17, 2026.
• At least 9 years of experience in banking or non‑banking sectors, with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant data‑focused role.
