Quality Assurance Engineer – Lahore

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join Haier’s Lahore facility. The role focuses on developing and monitoring QA objectives, analysing quality data, and collaborating with R&D and customer service to resolve product and process quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Define and track QA objectives and plans aligned with departmental goals.
• Implement quality monitoring systems, product specifications, and process controls.
• Monitor defect rates, analyse trends and initiate corrective actions.
• Analyse market feedback and quality data to identify improvement and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with R&D and Customer Service to address quality concerns and drive product improvements.
• Conduct regular internal audits and prepare documentation for external ISO audits.
• Lead a team of 10 QA professionals, providing training, mentorship and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards, including environmental and occupational health & safety requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functions.
• Leadership experience managing a QA team.
