Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

About the role

The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer will ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems supporting production activities. This role focuses on reliability, safety, and preventive maintenance within an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation and control of electrical and instrumentation systems during assigned shifts.
• Ensure reliability and availability of electrical equipment to support uninterrupted production.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and conduct routine inspections.
• Enforce electrical safety standards, conduct safety audits, and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with other departments, engineers, and technicians for seamless coordination.
• Provide technical guidance to the maintenance team and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, and control systems.
• Ability to promote a safety‑first culture.

Required skills

• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and drawings.
• In‑depth understanding of electrical safety standards and protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
