Security Engineer (L2/L3) – Security Operations

About the role

We are seeking a senior Security Engineer (L2/L3) to join a large‑scale, 24x7 Security Operations environment supporting distributed teams across multiple regions. The role focuses on managing enterprise firewalls, web security, endpoint protection, and related security processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Implement, review, and maintain firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, and security rules.
• Administer WAF, IPS, VPN, MFA, and proxy security solutions.
• Support endpoint security platforms including EDR, DLP, and antivirus.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and document findings.
• Review security logs, alerts, and operational events.
• Assist with audit, compliance, and security governance requirements.
• Execute security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and DR readiness activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.

Required profile

• 4–10 years of experience in IT Security Operations.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.

Required skills

• Check Point, Palo Alto, or Fortinet firewalls.
• WAF and IPS technologies.
• VPN and MFA administration.
• Endpoint security (EDR, DLP, AV).
• Security incident investigation.
• Firewall rule review and security audits.
• Vulnerability management.
• ITSM processes (incident, change, problem management).
