Senior Accounts Manager

About the role

The Senior Accounts Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the client’s accounting system. This role ensures accurate bookkeeping, timely financial reporting, tax compliance and effective coordination across finance and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and restructure accounting procedures, chart of accounts and financial workflows to align with operational needs.
• Supervise complete bookkeeping in the installed accounting software, including receivables, payables, banking transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, management reports, profitability analysis and MIS reporting for decision‑making.
• Design and monitor billing processes, manage receivable aging and coordinate recovery actions.
• Maintain accounting records in compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements and support timely tax reporting.
• Define duties, workflows and coordination procedures, supervise accounting staff and assign responsibilities.
• Provide ongoing financial, operational and reporting support to senior management for business planning and control.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting system development, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, regulatory reporting and audit requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor accounting teams.
• Excellent analytical skills for profitability analysis and MIS preparation.
