Senior Backend Engineer – Java Spring Boot (8+ yrs)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and micro‑service architectures to design and deliver high‑performance, scalable applications for our clients across multiple Pakistani cities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based micro‑services using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs that integrate with PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle databases.
• Implement event‑driven solutions with Kafka or RabbitMQ and ensure reliable message processing.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP for scalable infrastructure.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and work within Agile development cycles.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and reliability issues.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Proven track record building micro‑services and REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ and event‑driven design.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
