Senior Business Planning Officer & Executive Assistant

About the role

The Senior Business Planning Officer will support the CEO in driving strategic business plans that align with Mashreq Bank’s objectives while also providing high‑level executive assistance. This dual role blends analytical monitoring of plan execution with day‑to‑day administrative support for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the progress of business plans, recommending focus areas.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely implementation of plans.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on plan execution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including partners and suppliers.
• Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.
• Coordinate travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, and rental cars.
• Prioritize and handle incoming communications (calls, emails, mail).
• Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Maintain confidential files and records.
• Conduct research and compile data for special projects.
• Coordinate events and special projects assigned by the CEO.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
• Provide administrative support to other members of the executive team as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field or a fresh graduate from a top business school.
• Tech‑orientation with a passion for digital banking technologies, systems, and processes.
• Proven ability to work with large, cross‑functional teams.
• Creative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to the country’s digital transformation.
