Assistant Manager – Investigations (Payments Operations)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Investigations will support the Payments Operations team by handling a wide range of investigation queries related to fund returns, amendments, recalls and more. The role requires deep knowledge of both outward and inward remittance processes and a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and resolve investigation query messages such as returns of funds, unable to apply, amendment, BCNR, recall, RFI and back valuation.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of outward and inward remittance procedures.
• Perform quality checks on CPC processes and generate daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports and dashboards.
• Analyse recurring queries, collaborate with managers and propose process improvements to reduce repetitive issues.
• Provide timely feedback to the processing team to enhance performance.
• Ensure timely completion of RCSA for all CPC processes and upload results in PRISM for UAE and IBG locations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of investigation queries in payments operations.
• Experience with outward and inward remittance workflows.
• Ability to conduct quality checks and produce MIS dashboards.
• Analytical mindset to identify patterns and suggest process enhancements.
• Attention to detail for RCSA compliance and documentation.
