Senior Consultant – Global Compliance and Reporting

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team. You will lead complex tax engagements, manage client compliance and reporting, and help grow the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering tax services, combining technical expertise with commercial, legislative and industry knowledge.
• Manage day‑to‑day client engagements, monitor progress, ensure deliverables, standardise processes and mitigate risks.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships while ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Supervise and coach junior team members, fostering a positive learning culture.
• Ensure adherence to EY’s Tax Quality guidelines and drive performance‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or related field; MBA or professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules, tax accounting and tax auditing, preferably in a large professional services firm.
• Proven managerial, organisational and project‑management experience.
• Experience working with multinational clients in a multicultural environment.
