Senior Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of our enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high‑availability connectivity across data centers, regional hubs, and branch locations while collaborating with security and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier‑1/2/3 troubleshooting and resolve escalated network incidents that affect service continuity.
• Maintain and upgrade network devices, including Cisco Catalyst switches, ISR/ASR routers, firewalls, VPN concentrators, and wireless controllers.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and resource utilization using tools such as Orion and SolarWinds.
• Execute configuration and change management processes in line with ITIL and enterprise policies.
• Implement and enforce security policies, ACLs, and firewall rules in partnership with the security team.
• Coordinate with carriers, manage trouble tickets, and support end‑user network queries.
• Lead projects involving core infrastructure, SDN/SD‑WAN, and cloud‑based networking services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience with WAN protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and LAN/WLAN technologies (DNS, IP addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree, Multicast).
• Proven experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Catalyst switches and multi‑vendor NG‑firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortigate).
• Familiarity with ITIL change management and security compliance processes.
