Grid Manager – Sales & Business Development

About the role

The Grid Manager is accountable for driving key performance indicators across sales, revenue, business development and mobile broadband within a designated geographic grid. The role focuses on expanding channel reach, improving network utilization and ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead revenue growth for 3G and 4G services, ensuring high‑quality gross adds.
• Identify high‑potential areas and expand channels (SIM sales, mobile load, VAS, MNP, post‑paid, ECATs).
• Manage end‑to‑end complaint handling, CSI monitoring and quality assurance at franchise locations.
• Coordinate trade marketing activities, BTL promotions, brand visibility and special events.
• Analyse untapped territories, guide BDOs on sales routing and produce regular forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards and recharges.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Head to design localized promotions for low‑performing zones.
• Train and supervise staff and retailers, conduct market visits and ensure stock availability.
• Maintain SOP compliance, discipline, targets and trade promotion updates for channel partners.
• Oversee POS material placement and support merchandising efforts.
• Work with Marketing and Channel teams on business development initiatives within the grid.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, telecom or related business development roles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple KPIs and drive revenue growth.
