Senior Program Manager – Partnership & Donor Experience

About the role

The Senior Program Manager will lead partnership onboarding, grant management, monitoring and evaluation, and donor experience functions for a leading non‑profit client. The role requires building strong relationships with partner organisations and high‑net‑worth donors while ensuring compliance and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously refine the partner onboarding and due‑diligence framework, conduct orientations and ensure all legal agreements and compliance requirements are completed.
• Design, manage and monitor transparent grant disbursement processes, review Fund Utilization Plans, anticipate risks and ensure timely payments aligned with donor intent.
• Develop and implement a tiered Monitoring & Evaluation framework, maintain real‑time dashboards, standardise Fund Utilization Reports and translate insights into donor‑ready narratives.
• Collaborate with partners to craft compelling proposals, build a curated pipeline of fundable projects, devise donor engagement strategies and represent the organisation in donor meetings and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–12 years of experience in the development sector with proven program, partnership and donor‑engagement management.
• Strong knowledge of non‑profit compliance, reporting standards and donor expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to build long‑term relationships with partner organisations and high‑net‑worth donors.
