Site Manager – Logistics Operations

About the role

Maersk’s Contract Logistics business is seeking a Site Manager to own end‑to‑end operations of a logistics site. You will drive safe, efficient and customer‑focused warehouse and fulfillment activities while leading a high‑performing, safety‑first team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day warehouse and site operations, covering inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing and outbound fulfillment.
• Plan and manage productivity, continuously improve processes and ensure operational excellence.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, proper storage practices and compliance with HSSE, quality and regulatory standards.
• Coach, develop and motivate site teams, fostering a high‑performance and safety‑focused culture.
• Monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Manage customer requirements and service level agreements to ensure consistent high‑level delivery.
• Control site costs and resources, identifying opportunities to boost productivity and profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse, contract logistics, distribution or supply‑chain operations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong background managing large‑scale or complex warehouse environments.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership, team‑development and performance‑management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, warehousing processes and fulfillment operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational performance tools.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Customer‑focused with strong stakeholder‑management skills.
