SQA Manual Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented SQA Manual Engineer to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will apply strong manual testing expertise to identify defects early and help deliver a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scenarios based on product requirements.
• Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications, covering functional, regression, integration and usability aspects.
• Identify, record and track defects using bug‑tracking tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Participate in requirement reviews to provide early feedback and ensure testability.
• Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing before each release.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, reports and test artefacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Manual testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail and Bugzilla.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience with cross‑device and cross‑platform testing.
• Functional, regression, integration and usability testing techniques.
