Team Lead Mechanical

About the role

Lead the Maintenance Team to execute mechanical maintenance plans, combining time‑based, condition‑based, and periodic overhauls for potato chip production lines, while driving downtime reduction and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cleaning, inspection, lubrication and tightening (CILT) pillar of TPM.
• Develop and execute the Mechanical PM calendar, including TPM, CBM and periodic overhauls.
• Perform data analysis, root‑cause analysis and drive downtime reduction projects.
• Set up condition‑based maintenance systems with vibration analysis, temperature logging and load recording.
• Lead mechanical skill enhancement and competency development for process operators and artisans.
• Manage third‑party mechanical maintenance teams and contractors.
• Oversee spare parts availability and drive cost‑inventory optimisation.
• Drive SAP PM agenda: schedule, close work orders, reconcile downtime and technical utilisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 1‑2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a process environment.
• Knowledge of TPM, CILT, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Required skills

• Condition‑based maintenance tools (vibration analysis, temperature logging, load recording).
• SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module.
• Data analysis and root‑cause analysis for equipment breakdowns.
