Vice President – Pakistan Operations

About the role

The Vice President for dnata Pakistan will be the most senior executive leader responsible for the joint‑venture’s ground handling and cargo operations across the country. Reporting to the DSVP of Airport Operations and indirectly to the Board, the role combines safety, operational performance, financial stewardship and strategic execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall management of the business, ensuring safety, compliance and profitable operations.
• Develop and implement a rolling three‑year business strategy aligned with Board and Group objectives.
• Hold full P&L accountability, overseeing revenue, profitability, labour costs, OPEX, cash flow and asset protection.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans; report monthly performance to headquarters and the Board.
• Ensure ground handling and cargo services meet regulatory, customer and dnata standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes and service quality.
• Implement Board and joint‑venture directives within legal frameworks.
• Lead risk assessment and due‑diligence for investments and strategic decisions.
• Provide visible leadership to the executive team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in aviation ground handling, cargo or related transport services.
• Proven track record of full P&L responsibility and strategic business planning.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence regulators, customers, airport authorities and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, safety and compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
