Business Application Support Specialist

About the role

Support and maintain IT systems and business applications to ensure seamless sales operations, data accuracy, and system performance across the South region.

Key responsibilities

• Sales Operations Support: ensure seamless functionality of sales applications and resolve field and distributor‑related system and data issues.
• User Access Management: manage user accounts, access rights, onboarding and off‑boarding activities.
• IT Support: handle support tickets within agreed SLAs and escalate complex issues when required.
• Application Support: coordinate with IT teams and suppliers on application issues, system changes, SKU updates and enhancements.
• System Performance: conduct regular application health checks to ensure effective utilization, reporting and data accuracy.
• IT Assets & Training: maintain asset records, perform periodic audits and provide user training on applications and IT assets.
• Project Coordination: support IT initiatives and maintain effective coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in IT systems, business applications, databases or cloud services.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI and data‑analytics tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of data management and IT best practices.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and conduct user training.
