Business Development Manager – AI SaaS

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our AI, automation, and software development services. This remote position will own the full sales cycle—from prospect identification to closing deals—while building a repeatable sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy for AI agents, workflow automation, custom development, and integration services.
• Identify target companies across markets such as Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Pakistan.
• Generate qualified leads via LinkedIn, email outreach, referrals, partnerships, networking events, and other channels.
• Conduct discovery calls to capture client needs, budget, timeline, and decision‑making process.
• Translate requirements into solution opportunities and collaborate with technical teams to prepare proposals, estimates, and statements of work.
• Present solutions to business owners, senior managers, and decision‑makers and manage the pipeline through negotiation to close.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reports.
• Build relationships with agencies, consultants, technology partners, and referral partners.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end business development or sales cycles for technology services.
• Ability to create and follow a structured sales process rather than relying solely on inbound leads.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable selling to diverse sectors such as digital agencies, professional services, healthcare, legal, real‑estate, e‑commerce, SaaS, and SMEs.
