Business Development Manager – Exhibitions

About the role

Black Diamond is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead its exhibitions team. You will be responsible for driving sales, securing exhibition space bookings and sponsorships, and nurturing client relationships for trade shows and events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within exhibitions and trade shows.
• Generate leads, prepare proposals, presentations and quotations, and close exhibition space bookings and sponsorship deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors and corporate clients.
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of each exhibition.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales or client management in exhibitions, events or related industries.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Target‑driven with a track record of meeting sales/revenue goals.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field (or equivalent experience).
