Cabin Supervisor

About the role

The Cabin Supervisor acts as the airline’s ambassador, ensuring a high‑quality passenger experience while maintaining safety, security and regulatory compliance throughout the flight cycle. This role leads the cabin crew, prepares them for each flight, and oversees their performance on‑board and during lay‑overs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cabin crew licensing, documentation, conduct and performance to ensure compliance with civil aviation authority regulations and airline SOPs.
• Liaise with line managers, captains and dispatch to provide crew with all necessary flight information before boarding.
• Verify timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness and legal eligibility of crew members for each assigned flight.
• Conduct pre‑flight briefings, assign roles, set targets and review safety and security procedures.
• Coach and guide crew members on‑board to improve duty performance and passenger service.
• Oversee crew welfare during lay‑overs, especially in foreign countries.
• Monitor and enforce safety, security, fuel and weight checks, reporting cabin status as secure or not secure.
• Supervise passenger safety briefings, respond to emergencies, and ensure first‑aid procedures are followed.
• Manage in‑flight customer service, ensuring passenger requests are addressed promptly and supporting crew handling stressed passengers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cabin crew operations with a strong understanding of aviation safety and regulatory standards.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate a diverse team of cabin crew members.
• Excellent communication skills for briefings, liaison with flight‑deck personnel and handling passenger interactions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation, scheduling and lay‑over logistics.
