Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Consultant/Developer to configure, customize and integrate Business Central with our internal platform and third‑party systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize Business Central using AL and Visual Studio Code, including table/page extensions, codeunits and event‑based extensions.
• Design and build custom Business Central APIs for bi‑directional data exchange.
• Integrate Business Central with internal and external systems via REST APIs, OData v4 and webhooks, handling OAuth 2.0/S2S authentication and Microsoft Entra ID app registrations.
• Implement robust integration architecture with error handling, retry mechanisms, monitoring (Azure Application Insights) and reconciliation controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product and Development teams to translate requirements into solutions and support testing, UAT, deployment and production troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV and advanced AL development.
• Proven experience building Business Central API extensions and custom API pages.
• Solid understanding of Business Central finance/accounting modules and transaction flows.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate directly with cross‑functional teams.
