Senior Finance Functional Consultant - D365 Finance & Operations

About the role

This role is a Senior Finance Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). It covers the full lifecycle of finance implementations, from requirements gathering and design through testing, data migration, training and go-live support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business process discovery workshops and gather detailed business requirements.
• Perform fit/gap analysis and recommend standard D365 F&O capabilities and best practices.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents, process flows, user stories and solution documentation.
• Configure D365 F&O modules and support end-to-end business process testing.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on customizations, integrations, reporting and data migration.
• Prepare test scripts, coordinate SIT/UAT, manage defect resolution and support business sign-off.
• Support data migration, including data mapping, validation and reconciliation.
• Deliver user training, create training materials and run knowledge transfer sessions.
• Provide go-live, hypercare and post-go-live support to business users.
• Take part in project planning, status reporting, risk identification and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• 7+ years of ERP implementation experience, including at least 3 end-to-end Microsoft D365 Finance implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance modules; Project Management & Accounting (PMA) experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in UAT management, defect tracking and testing methodologies.
• Understanding of data migration, integrations, reporting and security concepts within D365 F&O.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft implementation methodologies, including Success by Design and FastTrack principles.
• Dynamics 365 certifications are highly preferred.
