Frontend 3D Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Frontend 3D Engineer to create highly interactive, browser‑based 3D experiences for our DBS platform. The role focuses on real‑time rendering, performance optimisation and seamless integration with backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interactive 3D visualisation experiences using Three.js, React Three Fiber and Drei.
• Build and maintain frontend applications with Next.js 14 and React.
• Implement mesh manipulation features such as selection, transformation and highlighting.
• Integrate 3D components with backend APIs and product workflows.
• Optimise WebGL rendering for performance, memory usage and smooth interaction.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience, primarily frontend/3D.
• Strong hands‑on experience with WebGL, Three.js and React Three Fiber.
• Proficiency in React.js and at least 2 years with Next.js (preferably version 14).
• Solid understanding of 3D concepts such as geometry, meshes, materials, lighting and cameras.
