Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all core HR functions, driving recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, HR operations and compliance. This senior leadership position requires a hands‑on professional who can own the HR function and align strategic initiatives with Vertex’s business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for technical and non‑technical roles, develop hiring strategies and manage employer branding.
• Foster a collaborative culture, design engagement programs, and act as a trusted advisor for employee concerns.
• Oversee performance appraisal cycles, goal‑setting, and partner with department heads on development needs.
• Maintain HR records, attendance systems, ensure policy compliance and drive process improvements.
• Align HR strategy with organizational objectives, champion diversity and inclusion, and provide analytics to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of proven HR experience, preferably in IT or software development.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan labor laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to work onsite during night‑shift hours to support U.S. operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Advanced MS Office skills.
