Import Operations Manager – Associate

About the role

ASTO Life Sciences is seeking an Associate Import Manager to lead end‑to‑end import operations in Lahore. The role ensures full compliance with customs regulations, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the complete import process, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Classify goods accurately using Harmonized System (HS) codes and maintain adherence to international trade laws.
• Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to optimise import activities and resolve issues.
• Monitor inventory levels of imported goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and review import documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Stay updated on changes to customs regulations and trade policies.
• Analyse import data to identify process improvements and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support audits and compliance reviews by maintaining organised records.
