About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for a Medical Coder based in Rawalpindi. The role involves reviewing medical records, assigning accurate diagnosis and procedure codes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient charts and medical documentation to determine appropriate codes.
• Assign ICD‑10, CPT, and HCPCS codes accurately for diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Assist in claims preparation and management, supporting revenue cycle activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to improve documentation quality.
• Participate in denial management and support corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical coding with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with health information management and medical terminology.
• Relevant certification (e.g., RHIT) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an on‑site team.
