QA Engineer

About the role

siParadigm is an AI‑driven healthcare technology company building a platform for the US market. The solution integrates with hospitals, providers and payers, handling sensitive health data. As the product approaches market launch, the company needs a QA Engineer to own and shape the quality assurance function for the Islamabad engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement testing strategy, standards and release criteria for the local team.
• Build and maintain regression, smoke and integration test suites.
• Introduce a defect lifecycle and quality reporting that informs leadership decisions.
• Act as the quality gate for releases, defining “ready to ship” and enforcing it.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for web UI, REST APIs and backend services using Python‑based tooling.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to catch defects early.
• Perform API, database and performance/load testing.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of QA engineering experience.
• Experience testing AI/ML‑powered or data‑intensive products.
• Familiarity with LLM/model evaluation tools such as DeepEval, Ragas, promptfoo or custom harnesses.
• Exposure to healthcare IT standards (HL7/FHIR, LIS/LIMS, EMR integrations) or regulated software validation.
• ISTQB certification preferred.
