Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to own and continuously improve the quality of its internal technology ecosystem. The role covers end‑to‑end validation of ERP, CRM, WMS, dashboards, automation workflows, APIs and integrations that support warehouse operations, finance, sales and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall QA strategy, release‑quality process and standardized test plans for all internal systems.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, API, database and end‑to‑end testing across front‑end, back‑end business logic, data layers and user permissions.
• Validate critical integrations with platforms such as Shopify, ShipHero, Xero, AWS and other operational services.
• Build and maintain regression suites for business‑critical workflows and identify edge cases before production.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps, severity and evidence, and coordinate resolution with developers, DevOps and stakeholders.
• Drive automation where it improves coverage and release confidence, and provide visibility into system quality and release readiness.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software QA experience, including leading QA processes or teams.
• Strong understanding of modern web application architecture and bug lifecycle.
• Proven ability to investigate data discrepancies at the database level.
• Experience designing structured test cases, test plans and release checklists.

Required skills

• API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
• SQL and PostgreSQL
• Automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
• Git‑based development and deployment workflows
• Regression and end‑to‑end testing methodologies
• Experience with AWS environments
