Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

The Quality Assurance Analyst will support the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) within the Internal Audit function. This role conducts pre‑ and post‑issuance reviews of audit assignments, ensures compliance with IIA standards, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing QAIP in line with IIA standards and internal audit policies.
• Perform pre‑issuance and post‑issuance quality reviews of audit assignments, checking completeness, accuracy, and adherence to methodology.
• Review audit working papers, risk assessments, and reports for adequacy and compliance with internal standards.
• Prepare review notes, working papers, and follow‑up summaries for discussion with the QA manager and audit teams.
• Support the preparation of internal QA reports and dashboards, track implementation of QA recommendations, and help design QA checklists and templates.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CA/ACCA finalist or CIA preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in internal audit or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of IIA standards, internal audit methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Effective communication, high attention to detail, ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
