Remote Electrical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a contract Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and validate electrical systems for high‑impact projects across multiple industries. The position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work with a global engineering services leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate electrical circuits, power and control systems using industry‑standard tools.
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams in line with project requirements and safety regulations.
• Conduct failure mode analysis, root‑cause investigations, and implement corrective actions for electrical subsystems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to integrate electrical components into complete product solutions.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant certifications and regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience designing and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits, power distribution, and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in Agile or structured engineering environments and use of version‑control systems.

Required skills

• CAD tools such as Altium or KiCad for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Simulation tools like SPICE, MATLAB, or Simulink for modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of IEC, UL, and IPC standards for electrical safety and manufacturing.
• Version‑control systems (e.g., Git).
