Senior AI Engineer – Computer Vision & ML

About the role

Motive is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help bring intelligence to the world’s trucks. You will work with a high‑caliber team of researchers and engineers on computer vision, deep learning, and robotics to improve fleet safety and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve performance of existing CV/ML models in production.
• Design, implement, and optimize computer‑vision algorithms for real‑time embedded platforms.
• Develop cloud services and integrate them with edge processing pipelines.
• Convert research prototypes into reliable product features and automated deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with embedded, backend, frontend, hardware, and QA teams to ensure robust AI systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s or Ph.D. is a strong plus.
• 5+ years of algorithm development experience in computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning.
• Solid mathematical foundation in optimization, CV, and ML.

Required skills

• Python and C++ programming.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Building and deploying ML models on embedded devices.
• AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS).
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Computer‑vision techniques: object detection, segmentation, recognition, geometric vision.
