Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Moniepoint is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and deliver high‑quality web applications for its fast‑growing fintech platform. You will work remotely with product managers, designers, backend engineers and architects to turn complex business requirements into intuitive, accessible user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain scalable React applications using TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Define and evolve frontend architecture, coding standards and reusable component libraries.
• Integrate frontend code with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services and authentication mechanisms.
• Improve performance, security, browser compatibility and monitor Core Web Vitals.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• At least seven years of professional software engineering experience building production‑grade frontend applications.
• Strong expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript and React, including hooks, state management and routing.
• Proven experience designing scalable frontend architectures and reusable component systems.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility.
