Senior Finance Officer

About the role

Our client LT Engineering & Trade Services (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to lead the finance function at its Hassan Abdal location. The role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts and periodic reports.
• Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with organisational goals.
• Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard assets.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, maintaining vendor relationships.
• Oversee general ledger management and journal entry posting.
• Utilise ERP software for efficient financial processing and reporting.
• Apply advanced Excel financial modelling to analyse trends and support decision‑making.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing required documentation.
• Lead and supervise a small finance team, providing guidance and performance evaluations.

Required profile

• BBA in Finance or equivalent (ICMA Finalist or CA (inter) preferred).
• Minimum three years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership skills managing a small team.
