Team Lead - Graphic Design & Video Editing

About the role

Carpe Diem, an IT and software development firm serving 400+ clients in the USA, is looking for a creative and dynamic Team Lead for its Graphic Designing and Video Editing department. The role combines hands-on design and video production with strong leadership: you will oversee the creative process, guide a team of designers and editors and make sure all visual content meets client objectives and company standards. The position is full time, 100% remote, with clients based in the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of graphic designers and video editors, overseeing projects from concept to completion.
• Ensure the creative vision and brand guidelines are applied consistently across all visual outputs.
• Develop and implement design strategies that improve client-facing visual content.
• Review and approve designs, artwork, photography and graphics produced by team members.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to create cohesive designs aligned with clients' goals.
• Train and mentor team members, giving feedback and supporting their professional growth.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs on time.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Video Editor or similar role, with at least 5 years in the industry and 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Strong portfolio showing high-level graphic design and video editing skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Video Production, Fine Arts, Media Sciences or a related field.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, and strong organizational and project management abilities.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Canva and CapCut
