POSM Designer

About the role

The company is hiring a POSM Designer who enjoys designing, takes ownership of assignments and thrives under pressure. The role covers creative concept development, 3D visualization and technical design of displays, exhibition booths, plaques, awards, signage and retail displays, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing feasibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts for POSM displays, exhibition booths, plaques, awards, signage, retail displays and promotional stands from basic instructions, sketches or specifications.
• Produce realistic 3D models and photorealistic renderings in professional 3D software, with accurate dimensions, proportions, material thicknesses, textures and finishes.
• Ensure designs are technically practical, structurally feasible and suitable for manufacturing, fabrication, installation or assembly.
• Know common materials (MDF, melamine, acrylic, stainless steel, aluminum, PVC, foam board) and their thicknesses, and avoid exaggerated or unmanufacturable concepts.
• Review designs carefully, incorporate client and internal feedback, manage multiple assignments and revisions, and submit work on time.
• Maintain organized design files and project documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in POSM design, 3D product visualization, exhibition design, retail displays or a related field.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, handle tight deadlines and give constructive feedback professionally.
• Excellent written and verbal English; occasional support for urgent projects outside normal hours is expected.
• Preferred: experience with custom awards, exhibition booths, signage, and fabrication methods such as CNC routing, laser cutting, UV printing and engraving.

Required skills

• Excellent proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of at least one professional 3D design and rendering software.
• Understanding of fabrication techniques such as CNC routing, laser cutting, UV printing and engraving.
