Accounting and Finance Manager – FMCG

About the role

Mellori, a new premium spread brand, is seeking a diligent Accounting and Finance Manager with 5‑7 years of FMCG experience. The role supports financial operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting: ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, budgets and forecasts aligned with company goals.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial laws.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Utilise QuickBooks and Peachtree for general‑ledger entries and reporting.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain organized documentation for audit and management review.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting and financial planning.
• Implement and monitor financial policies to improve accountability.
• Provide detailed performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of accounting/finance experience in the FMCG sector.
• Part‑qualified CA, ACCA, ICMA or MBA Finance.
• Strong attention to detail and high integrity.
• Ability to work independently without direct team management.
