Accounting Controller / Senior Manager

About the role

Lead end‑to‑end accounting execution for a US‑headquartered group from our Islamabad office. You will own the month‑end close, multi‑entity consolidation and reporting on a US calendar, working hours that overlap the US East Coast morning.

Key responsibilities

• Run the full month‑end close and reconciliation cycle in NetSuite on the US calendar.
• Own multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidation with accurate intercompany eliminations.
• Maintain GL integrity, balance‑sheet roll‑forwards, management reporting and audit‑readiness.
• Execute VAT/sales‑tax compliance, statutory filings and ASC 606/IFRS 15 revenue recognition where applicable.
• Prepare audit packages and lead the annual audit under the Dubai Director’s oversight.
• Develop and lead the Islamabad accounting team to a reliable, accountable operating standard.

Required profile

• Hands‑on NetSuite experience: personally performed month‑end close and multi‑entity/multi‑currency consolidation.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CA, CPA or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a controller or accounting‑management role.
• Willing to work on‑site in Islamabad and overlap US East Coast morning hours.
• Experience in shared‑services/offshore delivery, US GAAP and IFRS, VAT compliance, and M&A accounting is ideal.
