Accounting Operations & Reporting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Operations & Reporting Manager ensures accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Nestlé Accounting Standards, IFRS and local regulations. The role leads period‑end close activities, prepares statutory statements, and maintains strong financial controls to safeguard balance‑sheet integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Period End Close (PEC) activities ensuring first‑time accuracy and timely group reporting.
• Prepare and present statutory financial statements in line with NAS, IFRS and local regulations.
• Coordinate half‑year reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
• Present financial insights to the Board Audit Committee on a quarterly basis.
• Act as custodian of Nestlé Accounting Standards, ensuring compliance across all accounting practices.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through reconciliations and timely clearing of open items.
• Collaborate with Nestlé Business Services on end‑to‑end processes (S2P, O2C, R2R) to meet SLA requirements.
• Oversee CAPEX and Fixed Assets processes, ensuring proper capitalization and compliance.

Required profile

• ACA / ACCA or a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• 6–7 years of post‑qualification experience, including articleship with a reputable firm.
• Strong academic background and professional certification in finance/accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FICO modules.
• Sound knowledge of IAS, IFRS, Companies Act and corporate governance frameworks.
• Proven understanding of Period End Close processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English.
