Accounts and Software Support Assistant

About the role

AFK Traders is looking for an Accounts and Software Support Assistant to join its finance team in Karachi. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records using computer‑based accounting systems and providing general administrative support to the accounts function.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update financial transactions, invoices, receipts and expense records in the accounting software.
• Maintain organized digital files and supporting documentation.
• Assist with account reconciliation, data checking and preparation of basic financial summaries.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and report issues for review.
• Follow established procedures for using accounting software and related office tools.
• Protect confidential business and financial information.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the accounts department as needed.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of bookkeeping, invoices, expenses and account records.
• Comfortable using computers and eager to learn accounting or business‑management software.
• Accurate data‑entry skills with strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of spreadsheets and document‑management practices.
• Ability to organize records, follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
• Dependable attendance and good time‑management.
• Clear communication and willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed.

Required skills
