Accounts Executive – Karachi

About the role

The Accounts Executive will manage daily accounting operations for PostEx in Karachi, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and support for month‑end reporting. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash, and vendor accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Process employee reimbursements and petty cash transactions.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as needed.
• Assist in tax‑related documentation, including withholding tax and sales tax records.
• Prepare financial reports and management summaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, BBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
