Accounts & Finance Manager

About the role

The Accounts & Finance Manager will lead end‑to‑end accounting and finance functions for a remote team based in Karachi. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, payroll processing, cash‑flow management and compliance while providing strategic insights to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities and maintain organized financial records.
• Process end‑to‑end payroll, ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations, and handle payroll reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, manage funds positioning, and ensure timely payments of financial obligations.
• Prepare department‑wise budgets, conduct cost analysis and recommend corrective actions for variances.
• Analyze profitability across products, services and business units and suggest strategies to improve financial efficiency.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities to ensure statutory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing accounting and finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, financial analysis and statutory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll, cash‑flow management, AP/AR and general ledger.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
