AI Engineer – Build and Deploy Scalable AI Solutions

About the role

The AI Engineer at Teknosys is a core technical position focused on turning data‑science models into production‑ready, scalable AI applications. Working closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders, you will ensure AI solutions deliver real business value while meeting high standards for reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and integrate them into enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain scalable data, training, and inference pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize models and optimise performance.
• Develop APIs and services that expose AI capabilities to downstream applications.
• Implement Generative AI and Large Language Model techniques such as prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Ensure AI systems meet scalability, latency, security, and reliability standards.
• Contribute to AIOps practices, including automated testing, deployment, and model monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, machine‑learning engineering, or AI development.
• Strong programming expertise in Python; familiarity with Java, Go, or C++ is a plus.
• Proven experience deploying ML models in production environments.
