AI Product Owner – AI/ML, GenAI & Personalization

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML & Personalization Proxy Product Owner to lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI/ML, GenAI, data‑science, personalization, campaign decisioning and automation initiatives. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage the AI/ML lifecycle, ensure governance and regulatory compliance, and translate business needs into measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across business, marketing, data science, AI/ML engineering, technology, architecture, security, risk, compliance, vendors and operations.
• Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets, delivery plans and governance documentation.
• Oversee AI/ML lifecycle activities including feature engineering, model evaluation, experimentation, MLOps and production deployment.
• Ensure AI governance, responsible AI, model risk, data privacy, cybersecurity, compliance and audit requirements are met.
• Translate business requirements into analytical use cases, structured delivery plans and measurable outcomes.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in project management, technology delivery, digital transformation, data, analytics, automation or AI‑related initiatives.
• Proven experience managing AI/ML, GenAI, data‑science, personalization, customer analytics, next‑best‑action or campaign optimisation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, risk management, executive reporting and presentation skills.
• Experience in regulated industries such as banking, financial services or fintech is preferred.

Required skills

• Practical understanding of machine learning concepts, feature engineering, model evaluation, experimentation, MLOps and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, model risk, data privacy, cybersecurity, compliance and audit requirements.
• Familiarity with Azure AI, Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, MLflow, Microsoft Copilot, Python and SQL.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project and ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
