About the role

Cactus Communications seeks an AI Scientific Editor specialized in Medicine to work from home. You will combine language expertise with subject‑area knowledge to help researchers publish cutting‑edge manuscripts in top journals.

Key responsibilities

Critically review and edit AI‑processed manuscripts, ensuring scientific clarity, coherence, and publication‑ready English.
Enhance manuscript quality beyond grammar by improving flow, logical consistency, readability, and overall presentation while preserving scientific accuracy.
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, unclear interpretations, and awkward phrasing in pre‑edited texts.
Ensure adherence to subject‑specific conventions, terminology, and style requirements.
Format manuscripts according to target journal guidelines and meet turnaround times.

Required profile

Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Medicine.
Excellent English proficiency with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

Experience editing scientific manuscripts (preferred).
